LIMITED WARRANTY

All Goodway products are manufactured, tested, and inspected in accordance with strict engineering requirements and are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

THIS WARRANTY IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS: WARRANTY DURATION

For products except those set forth below: (i) when the original purchaser is an owner or occupier of the property where the product will be used (“end user”), this warranty extends for three years from the date of the shipment of the product; (ii) when the purchaser is using the product to perform commercial services for owners or occupiers of properties (“commercial user”), this warranty extends for 180 days from the date of shipment of the product.

The following products are covered by a one-year end user warranty. When the purchaser is a commercial user, the warranty is 180 days:

  • Model GPW-1300 + GPW-1200 High Pressure Washer
  • Model CC-JR CoilPro Jr
  • Model CVC-100 coil vacuum
  • Series EV & DV Vacuums
  • Series GVC Vapor Steam Cleaners (3 yr warranty on the boiler)
  • Video Inspection Systems
  • AQ-FG & AQ-ID, AQ-RV450 machines
  • Conveyer Belt Cleaners
  • Dry Ice Blasters: DIB-2500
  • Heating Coils in hot water pressure washers
  • Promotional Items (Flashlights)

 

VAC-EX explosion-proof vacuums are covered by a two-year end-user warranty. When the purchaser is a commercial user, this warranty is 180 days.

The oil burners used in Goodway hot water pressure washers carry a limited warranty direct from the manufacturer. All warranty claims will be directed to the manufacturer, as set forth in the manufacturer’s warranty.

Honda gasoline engines are covered by a two-year warranty by Honda of America. Warranty service is available only through Honda of America authorized service outlets.

Promotional items and other products procured from third party manufacturers are warrantied, if at all, by the third party manufacturers.

PARTS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY: Parts requiring replacement due to normal wear and tear are not covered under warranty. These include belts, belt cleaner squeegees, hoses, cords, gaskets, carbon brushes, cleaning tools, spray nozzles, filters, bearings, flexible shafts, batteries, seals, grips, and switches.

WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS:

 Goodway will not be liable for breach of warranty in the event that:

The defect arises because purchaser or user failed to follow Goodway's oral or written instructions as to the storage, installation, commissioning, use, or maintenance of the products, including failure or other damage caused by use of electric equipment on an electrical supply other than as specified on the product nameplate or otherwise.

Failure or other damage results from the improper or negligent use or abuse of the products by the purchaser or user.

Incompatible cleaning or descaling chemicals are used.

Repairs or alterations are performed by anyone other than those designated by Goodway or without the prior written consent of Goodway.

REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT: Provided that purchaser or user has made a claim in a timely manner after discovery of a defect, all warranted defects will be repaired at no additional cost to the purchaser or user, and the product will be returned to the purchaser or user freight prepaid.

In its sole discretion, Goodway may elect, at its expense, to replace the product or part with another new identical or reasonably equivalent model or part in lieu of repairing the defect.

Under no circumstances will Goodway refund the purchase price to purchaser.

DISCLAIMERS

EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE, GOODWAY MAKES NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING ANY (A) WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY; OR (B) WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; OR (C) WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE, OR OTHERWISE.

THE REMEDIES SET FORTH SHALL BE THE PURCHASER’S OR USER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND GOODWAY'S ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY.

Products manufactured by a third party, including promotional items, ("Third-Party Product") may constitute, contain, be contained in, incorporated into, attached to, or packaged together with, the products. Third-Party Products are not covered by this warranty. For the avoidance of doubt, GOODWAY MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO ANY THIRD-PARTY PRODUCT, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE, OR OTHERWISE INCLUDING ANY (i) WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY; (ii) WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; (iii) WARRANTY OF TITLE; OR (iv) WARRANTY AGAINST INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF A THIRD PARTY.

To the extent that any Goodway Products are integrated with, incorporated into, attached to or used in connection with any Third Party Product, GOODWAY makes no warranty against any defects or problems of any kind, whether latent or apparent, in respect of Goodway Products caused or arising directly or indirectly as a result of the integration with or use of Goodway Products in connection with any Third-party Product.

Goodway will have no obligations under this Limited Warranty if purchaser is in breach of purchaser’s payment obligations under applicable terms and conditions.

This Warranty does not apply to personal injury or property loss that occurs due to the use of Goodway products.

Goodway does not provide a warranty related to any defect arising from designs, instructions or specifications supplied by purchaser to Goodway.

TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE: All items returned for warranty service must be accompanied by a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Please contact Goodway Customer Service by phone at 1-800-370-2855 or visit our website at www.goodway.com to obtain your RMA.

All products (including vacuum cleaners, sprayers and steam cleaners) which have been exposed to chemicals must be thoroughly cleaned before return to Goodway for service.  Safety Data Sheets must accompany the product.  Failure to comply may result in a delay of the warranty service.

Products or parts together with proof of purchase and a copy of the RMA must be shipped prepaid to:
