Goodway Technologies' ScaleBreak®-Gel and TFC-200 Cooling Tower Fill Cleaner have been featured in the February 24th online edition of New Equipment Digest. These products are ideal for cleaning cooling towers, where scale can act as an insulator, reducing efficiency and providing protection for bacteria like Legionella.

As discussed in the article, ScaleBreak®-Gel and the TFC-200 Cooling Tower Fill Cleaner had been in development for almost three years before their launch. As Goodway CEO, Tim Kane, commented in the piece, “The challenge is that in the process of melting calcium deposits, an outgassing takes place. It needs to be able to breathe. It has to react with the atmosphere. We had to find the narrow viscosity window where it would stay on long enough to begin the process, but light and thin enough to run away so the outgassing would happen.”
