Stamford, Conn. – June 3, 2022 – Congressman Jim Himes personally presented Goodway Technologies with the President's "E" Award for Exports from the United States Department of Commerce on Tuesday, May 24 at the Goodway Headquarters in Stamford, CT.  The Congressman among other local dignitaries celebrated this honor among Goodway Executives and Employees followed by a tour of the production facility. This is the highest honor given to U.S. exporters and acknowledges Goodway Technologies' achievement in making significant contributions to increased U.S. exports. The award presentation took place during World Trade Month which celebrates the importance of international trade to the U.S. economy.

Goodway is a global leader in manufacturing and distributing innovative technology-driven maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation solutions. Goodway, considered a small business, continues to make a significant impact within the exports arena and was also recently named the 2022 Exporter of the Year Award for the State of Connecticut and the Northeast Region by the Small Business Administration.

“We were honored to have Congressman Himes visit and learn more about Goodway Technologies growth in export sales over the recent years,” said Tim Kane, President and CEO of Goodway Technologies. “It’s exciting to receive recognition for our team’s hard work and innovation and we look forward to continuing the momentum.”
