Goodway Technologies Hires Marty Hurdt as Sanitation and Hygiene Specialist

Stamford, Conn – March 30, 2016 – Goodway Technologies, the leader in facility maintenance equipment, is pleased to announce that Marty Hurdt has joined the company as a Sanitation and Hygiene Specialist. Hurdt will primarily focus on sales and support of the dry vapor steam cleaners and belt cleaners for the food and beverage industry.

“Safety and sanitation within the food and beverage industry is highly critical and Marty brings extensive knowledge on dry vapor steam cleaning and sanitizing technology,” said Tim Kane, President and CEO of Goodway. “His deep experience and familiarity with the industry combined with Goodway’s advanced technologies and products will help our clients reach an optimal level of cleaning.”

Hurdt’s day-to-day responsibilities will include building relationships with prospects and clients in the food and beverage industry and ensuring they have an effective set of sanitary solutions. Goodway’s food and beverage processing maintenance equipment includes dry vapor steam cleaners, industrial vacuums, chiller and heat exchanger tube cleaning, and other clean-in-place technologies.

“For decades, Goodway has been developing innovative and quality products that provide sanitary solutions,” said Hurdt. “It is a wonderful opportunity to work with a company that has a strong focus on delivering better maintenance solutions and eliminating pain points for the customers.”

Hurdt will concentrate on Goodway’s advanced industrial dry vapor steam cleaner technology which helps blast dirt, food production soils, grease and grime leaving surfaces clean. Additionally, the 290° steam kills mold, mildew, bacterial, fungi, listeria and microorganisms on contact, plus removes food allergens, leaving surfaces sanitized. The recently added dry vapor steam belt cleaning systems are customizable and can quickly and effectively improve overall hygiene and quality. These systems clean production and packaging conveyor belts with much less water than traditional cleaning methods.

Hurdt was previously employed with AmeriVap Systems as the Corporate Sanitarian and Industrial Sales Manager. He is a graduate of Lockyear College.
